I apologize for the lack of updates ... I just haven't taken the time to blog. There are not enough hours in the day to get everything done lately.
Things are still going amazingly well .... we've had a few "Gabi shutdowns" in the last month but we're working on it. At the grocery store on Friday she totally ignored me when I was talking to her; so I totally ignored her and went about my shopping. Eventually she had a question and when she asked me I looked over her head and went about my business. She asked three or four times, same reaction from me .... she says "Oh, I see" and walked to the front of the cart and stopped -- I had to stop the cart. I waited a bit and then asked her if she liked it when I didn't talk with her or answer her question ...... she said "no, I no like that" and I explained that I don't either. We'll see ..........
On Thanksgiving Day Morgan told us that it's impossible to break a raw egg if you put it in the palm of your hand and squeeze. Of course we had to try it ..... here's Morgan giving Aunt Nancy the egg .....
Morgan was right -- several people tried and it couldn't be done ......
They eventually had Jack try this little experiment .... in case you haven't seen Jack's hands they are HUGE. He placed the egg in his palm and squeezed -- nothing. Morgan told him he wasn't doing it right, he needed to turn his hand over and try .... he did and IT EXPLODED. Egg flew everywhere ......... Morgan's hair, Bob' clothes, the snacks on the counter ..... YUCK!!!
Last night we had our Christmas party and Gin told us that while cleaning for the holidays Bob noticied a long shiny line on their ceiling --- yep, EGG!
While the grownups were making a mess the kids were having a great time downstairs ..... they found the dress-up clothes ..... Gabi and Payton modeling their new looks ... Barbie or Golden Girls????
Lindsay, Hailee, Morgan, Payton and Gabi ..........

St. Nick paid a visit ......... Gabi was super excited to hang her new stocking (thanks Aunt Nancy!!!) and both Hailee and Gabi had a great time checking out what he left .....

Decorating the Christmas tree was different. We were really excited for Gabi -- she loved examining all the ornaments and making them move or play music, however, it was also a sad night in a way. Gabi would look at the ornaments with pictures and put them on the table for Hailee to do. We think that she felt sad that she wasn't in the pictures. The next day I found a couple ornaments, added Gabi's pictures and she has them on the tree right in the front.

Sounds like it was a good time with the Ollmann's this weekend. Wish we were there, soon! Everytime we visit your blog Hayden has to watch Gabi reading, but he wants to know "ere Haiwee go," aka "Where did Hailee go?" So we might need a video of Hailee before we come out on Christmas! Love and Miss you guys!
