Gotcha Day, Puppies & Homecoming

Three years - can you believe it?  We just celebrated Gabi's 3rd Gotcha Day!  When it's Gotcha Day you're in charge of the fun.  Gabi's choice this year was Stone Fire Pizza.  It was the perfect day to go -- it wasn't crowded at all.  We had a whole room to ourselves for a long time.  The girls went off to play and Jack and I actually had time to TALK .....
The favorite game of the day was Deal or No Deal -- the girls could play together.
After winning nearly 500 tickets they couldn't wait to spend them.  What did they get -- these trendy fashion gloves in the lovely shade of lime green.  Hmmmmm .....
Happy Gotcha Day # 3 Gabi.  You are such an amazing young lady.  So full of life, kind-hearted, hardworking, spirited and full of joy and love.  We are truly blessed to have you in our lives.
And then .... Lisa came home a couple weeks ago.  It wasn't just a visit, she added a new member to the family.  Welcome Miss Ryleigh Rose - a little red headed, blue eyed beauty.  Isn't she a sweetie????
We were all excited to cuddle and spoil Ryleigh.  She was the star of the house for the weekend.  We all loved her, well except for Codee.  We really thought that Codee would welcome a puppy especially since the puppy is related to her. (she's from the same breeder) BUT not Codee -- she couldn't get away fast enough -- very funny to see her running from this little puppy.

The girls on the other hand couldn't put the puppy down.
They each needed to have the picture taken while they were holding the puppy.
Spirit Week at the high school was fun for Hailee this year.  She created the outfit she has on below.  Sophomores were required to wear green.  She spent hours splatter painting and designing her outfit.
She looked great!  Not sure what's up with the handprints on the hiney????
Homecoming 2012 -- she looked beautiful -- one would never know that she had spent the day with the x-country team running before she came home to get ready for the dance.
She's beginning to look so grown up ...

Check out the shoes ... she fell in love with them when her teacher wore them for one of the spirit days.  She told the teacher they would look great with her dress and the teacher let her borrow them.  There was a problem with this -- she had no idea how to walk in them.  Much time was spent in the basement practicing!
And at the dance she found the practicing wasn't necessary -- no one wore their shoes for long.
That's about it for now -- Happy Halloween everyone!
