Second -- passports, visa paperwork, visa pictures and Hailee's Kazakh passport have been sent to the agency. Hailee's passport has expired so the agency needs to file for an extension. Kazakhstan will not recognize her American passport because she's still a citizen there until she's 18. Good and bad -- good, we don't think she'll need a Visa which could actually save us a few hundred dollars -- bad, can't help but worry; will there be problems when it's time to leave Kazakhstan? The agency says no -- but we're taking her American passport too!
Third -- shopping, shopping, shopping . . . . Check out the picture of our dining room; it's beginning to look a lot like Wal-Mart.
