He's walking pretty well at the young age of 10-1/2 months, not much crawling anymore -- if he falls he gets right up and he's off again. Well, that was until his mom and dad bought him a pair of new shoes. He would stand there, pick up his foot and try to take a step or two before he was down and crawling. He must have those sensitive feet; the type that scream to get out of shoes because they just can't breathe with them on -- you know, just like his grandma!
Hayden also learned how to do the kodak moment "cheeeeese." Although he couldn't actually say it he definitely knew what to do when Auntie Lisa got out her camera. He stopped and looked up at her and gave her the biggest smile he has. At first we thought it was a one time thing, but no, he learned pretty quickly that if he stopped and smiled Lisa took the picture and than she would show him the baby in the camera. He had it down pat by the time we left -- way too cute!!!
Is that a camera Auntie Lisa? Here, let me give you my cheesiest smiles!

We visited the Farmers Market where they sliced up the best tasting apples. Hayden loved sampling them just as much as the rest of us. Yum! The view by the water was beautiful.

And, of course, we couldn't miss the opportunity to check out Chuck E Cheese. Hayden knows you can never learn to play skeeball too early!

It was hard to leave ............. we miss them so much!!!

Hi Mom and Dad...
Yes I am posting, I know you think people are not following this anymore, but we are, like me others look all the time and just dont stop and take the time to post for you to let you know we care and LOVE YOU!(The same goes for Jon and Amanda too, we are all looking and loving every post and update!)
Anyways I wanted to post to let you know that I love the new pictures, it was a lot of fun to be in WA with Jon, Amanda, and Hayden, and to see how much he has grown, I am still amazed by his "cheese" smiles, the waving, and the visions of him walking up and down the mall in OR...it was a memorable trip, thank you for posting about it! Love You! Lisa
So glad to hear you had such a wonderful time in Seattle. I'm sure it was very hard to say goodbye. Leaving those smiling babies is such a difficult thing to do!
