Yesterday on December 17th we received a wonderful gift -- a new addition to our family. Jonathan and Amanda welcomed their son, Hayden William at 4:16 p.m. Hayden weighs 6 lbs. 12 oz and is 20" long. Jack and I feel truly blessed . . . our first grandchild -- no words can explain the feeling, but those that have been there before us know what we mean. Hailee and Lisa are very excited with their first nephew . . .
Jack, I and Hailee leave late on Christmas Day to meet Hayden. We can't wait!!!

Mom and Dad...and New Auntie Hailee..Congrats on becoming first time Grandparents. Hayden is just too precious, (when you are out there next week with Jon, Amanda, and Hayden) you will have to make sure to give him extra hugs and kisses from me since I cant be in WA with you ..only a few more days till you travel...Love You All!

Congratulations!!! Being grandparents is a wonderful thing. Please give them all our best when you are out there visiting. And Cheryl, please give Hayden a few extra sniffs for me. You know!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Mom, Dad, and Hailee...Just think...soon there will be a 3rd daughter to say this too..we'll be a family of 6 instead of 5 at this time next year! (Whoops with everyone else we will be a family of 9!)
