Our trip to Washington was wonderful. It was so good to see Jonathan and Amanda -- it has been over three months since their Wisconsin visit. And . . . there are no words that can explain the feeling of meeting Hayden for the first time -- he is amazing! He is very alert, content and a good sleeper at night. Amanda and Jonathan are very lucky! Most of our days were low key - visiting, holding Hayden, watching movies, holding Hayden, playing Wii, holding Hayden, helping out Amanda, holding Hayden; you get the picture. Jack, Hailee & I tried to get all the cuddles, kisses and loves in that we could -- we will probably not see him until July when they come back for vacation. We did enjoy a trip to Ikea, checking out Pike's Market in Seattle and even enjoyed a night at Chuck E Cheese. The time went much too quickly . . . it was so hard to leave.
No word on the adoption . . . . the dossier is still in process so we are still waiting.
