Small Update

We heard from the agency today that our dossier is on it's way. It took a couple days longer to get those licenses translated . . . . we checked our Fed Ex tracking number and the consulate will have the papers tomorrow. The dossier will be sent from there to Astana, Kazakhstan . . . . . . we can't wait to check the tracking number in a week to see that it really, really, really is on it's way to Kazakhstan. It's taken so much longer than we hoped . . .
Blast from the past -- Eight years ago Jack & I were in Uralsk thinking about everyone back home and how they were preparing for Thankgiving dinner. Thinking, too, about Jonathan and how we would be missing his 17th birthday, knowing he was putting on a brave front but was really sad inside . . . .time goes so quickly; yet right now it seems to be passing so slowly -- every little glitch seems to take forever to overcome
Say a little prayer for us that the paperwork will breeze right through each of the next steps!

It is moving along!!! You are right, you both were still in Kaz, right? I came home the night before Thanksgiving, thank you for the reminder, life gets so busy. I remember the day I left for Uralsk but I had not thought of the day I came home. Life should not be that busy. Thank you for sharing your latest journey. Kathy
