We are going to get Ollmann's dossier next week and think that they may start getting ready to travel here in the end of March. The word that prevents me from doing a full jump for joy is "think" -- to me it means that it's not a done deal yet.
Yesterday we took inventory of the gifts that we have -- 5 beautiful handmade bags (THANKS Nancy!!), 2 small picture albums, 4 sets of bath & body things, 6 small bags of quality candy, 2 hand wind flashlights (for the men)and a mag light -- we still have a lot more shopping to do. The problem is finding things. The first trip it was much easier because we were one of the first families in Uralsk so whatever we found would be new, this time is much more difficult.
Although we had hoped to get most of the shopping done yesterday it didn't happen. We were visiting the grandparents and found that my dad was beginning to have chest pain. It continued to get worse so he was sent to the hospital. He is doing well now -- he probably suffered a slight heart attack but because of his frail condition they will not check further.
