Hopes are Risin'

Late last night we received this e-mail from our agency about our referral ....
The GOOD NEWS is that you DO have a FIRM referral for Gabriella! AND, they will give me the information in about ten days: the meeting was held, they gave you Gabriella and they are translating all of the information.

Ahhh ... that was the best news -- went to bed feeling much better, at least we wouldn't be on hold until the I-171H was processed. Can't wait to actually see this young lady and learn more about her .......

And then this e-mail came through today with more "best news" ... Our plea to Immigration Services had been received and this is what they had to say ....
Our record indicates we mailed a copy of the I-171H to you on 9/22/2008. Another copy will be mailed today.
Where the original I-171H went we'll never know, but once we have that precious piece of paper in our hands we'll be making 10 copies before sending it to the agency .........

One more POSITIVE to let you know -- Jack is in Seattle. He was able to get on a flight, was even treated to the "Upgrade seats" on Midwest -- hoping to return home on Monday if seats are available. Ron, thank you once again for the ticket and Pat, thank you for making it happen!!!

Jack called tonight to report that he's loving every minute. Hayden is so much fun, talking constantly and on the move. Today they went to the zoo .... here's a few pictures of their adventure:

Jonathan and Amanda encouraging Hayden to touch the living starfish .... Question for Amanda, did you touch them this time???? If I remember correctly you were a bit of a chicken when Lisa & I were there and .... I don't see your hands near that water. (hee, hee)

Jack must be in second heaven with that little ball of fire. Hayden is so cute. He's just getting so big.
