Very long day but we had great flights and we're home safely. We were greeted at the airport by Lisa & Hailee ..... a very happy Hailee and even though she didn't say it, I'm sure an even happier Lisa (being a mom was hard work!).

Mixed feelings today -- so glad to be home and with everyone, but missing Gabi and wonder what she's doing. Have to focus on all that has to be done before we can bring her home and maybe the time will go quicker.

Last night after getting home we ran to the police department to get our fingerprints re-done. Bulgaria requires them to be done every 6 months and since ours expired while we were there it's a priority. Today I'll type up the letter, get the certified check and mail them off. If you ever need to get your prints done we have a hint for you -- go when you're exhausted -- the officer will have an easier time rolling those fingers on the card. :-)

We also have to get our medical letters updated (again every 6 months) and send them off. Of course, both the FBI clearance and the medical letters will need to be notarized and apostilled -- but after those are done I think we'll be done with paperwork.
