Keeping Busy

On Wednesay we finally received our criminal checks from the FBI -- we had them notarized (thank you Brian!) and sent them, along with all the other paperwork, to Madison for the apostille. We hoped that they would be processed quickly and maybe arrive at the agency on Tuesday or Wednesday -- but -- our agency let us know that they had all of our apostilled documents by Friday morning! Great news!!!

The documents will be sent to Bulgaria .... they will be translated and given to the courts. Hurry, please hurry ........

In the meantime we're keeping ourselves busy. We've talked with Hayden (sort of talked anyway!) .... he's learning words quickly and during our phone calls Jonathan and Amanda encourage him to "talk" with us. He can say "uh oh," "please," "papa (for Grandpa)," "more," "banana" to name just a few ... he sounds so adorable. By the time we see him in July he'll be saying full sentences I just know it!

May is probably our busiest celebration month -- besides Mother's Day we've had a few confirmations and A LOT of birthdays ...

Lisa's was on the 10th (sorry, no pictures -- she wouldn't be happy). Here's Hailee & Jack ... they shared a cake since Jack's birthday is on the 18th & Hailee's is the 19th...

Codee has kept us laughing .... during present opening she was busy doing this ....

Here's our newest teenager on her birthday. She's all dressed up for her choir concert, which by the way, was wonderful.

Even though we're busy Gabi is never far from our thoughts -- can't go to sleep at night without watching the video ... she's such a ray of sunshine!

Happy Birthday Hailee and Jack. Is Hailee an "official" teenager now? Whoa Cheryl, watch out!!!!

Love the new name of your blog (quite appropriate) and the sweet picture of darling Gabriela. Having her for a little sister will be Hailee's best birthday gift yet.

See you in a couple of weeks!!!!!
