The Courts Say .....

Yesterday morning we received a phone call from our agency -- we were read the following e-mail from Bulgaria .......

We have wonderful news for Ollmans!! Today the Court hearing of Ollman's family passed successfully. We have to count how many time it's needed to be issued the Birth certificate of Gabriela and we will write you when the family could travel to pick up the child, and it's possible to they travel in August or September. Today Gabi was very beautiful. Milena said me that she was so polite and educated during the court hearing. She was emotional, even gets cry ...to tell the judge how she loves her family and wants to go home.

Emotions were running wild after hearing this ..... hearing how much Gabi wants to come home really pulls at the heart. Even though it was hard to hear that she was so emotional it felt good in a way. We've been wondering if she remembers us, if she thinks of us, if she knows that we're really going to come back for her ..... now we know the answer; SHE DOES. That means so much!

I wish they had taped what happened in court -- don't you wonder what she said, how she looked, what else happened ..... how did a ten year old young lady handle going to court and actually having to explain her feelings ... I'm in awe of her. I know how nervous Jack and I were when we had to tell the judge our feelings when we adopted Hailee .....

It's wonderful news, isn't it? She'll be home soon! So much hoping it's August -- I don't like that word September!

A quick note about vacation -- we are enjoying every minute of this. Hailee and Lisa are enjoying this "Aunt" business. And us, well, there's nothing that can be compared to hearing those little feet running through the hall listening to a little voice calling "PaPa NaNa." Then seeing his little face light up with this huge smile as he says the simplest word "Hi" It doesn't matter if he saw you 5 minutes ago or over an hour -- he's always so excited to see us. Life is at it's best!

We've received many, many blessings this week .................
