Since a video is uploading right now I'll start with wonderful thing #1 ....
It was very late Wednesday night .... Amanda, Hayden and Hailee were already asleep, Jack was called out on a road call and I'm on the computer getting ready to shut down for the night when I receive an e-mail marked with high importance ..... it read:
The Gift of Adoption Fund has awarded, Ollmann, Jack & Cheryl a grant of up to $3,500.00 to assist with fees directly related to completing their adoption.
OH MY GOSH!!! All the essay writing, all the justifications of need --- finally, finally, finally brought us some help AND there's no one for me to share the wonderful news with .... for a long time I just sat there with tears streaming down my face thanking the LORD for this wonderful gift. This means so much to us .... we've been stressing about the final payment and now we have almost half of it taken care of .... we have been blessed once again. This will mean only 1/2 the stress ..........
WONDERFUL THING #2 (definitely not meant as 2nd to the 1st)
Hayden and Amanda are here! (Jonathan comes in tonight!!!!) Hayden has grown so much ... he's a walking, talking ball of energy AND he's so much fun! He's definitely kept us laughing! (and Amanda's still as beautiful as ever!)
I have a lot of "Hayden stories" but since I'm a bit short on time right now I thought I'd tell you this ......
Hayden has fallen in love with Codee .... seriously, he asks for the "woof" as soon as he's up .... and he's not doing anything else until he finds her. He loves it when she's kissing him -- he giggles all the time (all I can say to that is YUCK), he will hold her head between his hands and give her a kiss and throw his arms around her to give her a big hug. Codee is tolerating all this "loving" pretty well. We are amazed at how she seems to know that she needs to be gentle with Hayden. She's still a puppy and she has a lot of energy -- she's running all the time but she's only bumped into Hayden twice, somehow she manages to get around him without causing a disaster. This morning Hayden found Codee's ball and I caught them playing on video .....
Have to get going now, you'll be hearing more!!!

Wonderful news Cheryl--congratulations on receiving the award. Such a wonderful surprise. It has to be such a big relief. Now you can really enjoy your visit with your adorable grandson.
