It is about 6:30 a.m. right now and I've been up for quite a long time -- thinking. Jack is still asleep (wasn't he doing that when I last posted???)and it's just beginning to get light in Sofia. The city is amazingly quiet .... but I can hear noises through the apartment walls as the people around us are starting their day.
Jack and I had an interesting moment last night -- he woke up and looked at our little alarm clock, it said 8:30, he jumped out of bed exclaiming he didn't turn on the alarm and we'd overslept. Petco would be coming in a few minutes .... it felt like we had just gone to bed. Had we??? The only way to know for sure was to turn on the computer to see -- so there we were both of us huddled around the computer waiting (why does it take so long?) for the time to be displayed. It turned out it was 8:30 p.m. WHEW!! Back to bed we went!
Shortley after that our door bell rang -- hope it wasn't important because Jack & I looked at one another, asked what it was and rolled over and fell back asleep ....
Lots of worries going through my mind right now ..... And, although, I'm thinking about what today will bring the worries are mostly about those at home. Jonathan and Amanda -- please continue to let us know what is happening with Hayden ...
Well, the alarm just went off in the bedroom (see, it was on after all) and Jack just ventured out to start the day. I will update again -- this time from Razgrad (I hope)!
Thank you for all the comments -- it is so good to hear from everyone. It's hard to explain how much you can miss those everyday contacts ....

Today I will be meeting Leta for breakfast and than we will be heading to visit Laura for the day. I have not seen her new apartment and am looking forward to that.
God bless your day.
Hi Mom and Dad!
I hope by now you are in Razgrad, have met with everyone, and some of your concerns and worries have abated. We cant wait to hear how things went.
This morning with Hailee went well, she was up really early and wanted to start getting ready, so we were up and had a nice morning.
Altough she said its hard to get Codee to lay down at night for the first 30 mins she is in the bedroom as Codee wants to lick her and let her know she loves her...so tonight I may try something different and bring her into the room before I go to bed to see if that helps at all.
Well I suppose I should get back to work...Love you both very much!
Love Always,
Lisa
We are glad to hear that everything is going so well for you. It sure sounds like a beautiful place...take lots of pictures! Your travels through the Frankfurt Airport sound very full of adventure, especially the bag x rays and "special room" visits for the DVD player. When I read all that I was amazed. :) We are all excited for your fisrt meeting with Gabriela Lynn and can't wait to hear about how it went. Will you be staying in a new apartment for the three days during your meetings with her as the city is 4 hours from where you are now?
