First -- thank you to everyone for your kind, supportive words -- it has been a long, hard weekend. Reading all the comments helped us all -- we will never be able to put into words the feelings that we have, but just knowing you're there is a comfort. We have done a lot of thinking and praying this weekend about the decision and we know it was the right one, and although, we don't exactly know what the future holds right now it will be the way it should be.
I do apologize for the lack of updates but I've been down with a nasty cold on top of everything else that's been going on (see Hailee really does share. I asked Jack to go to the internet cafe and update, but that wasn't happening. He's not a computer whiz (as we all know! - he says that you don't have to say anything Lorraine) :0)
We really don't have any news today -- we waited all day for the social worker to be "free" to show us children but she's been busy all day. Another family arrived this weekend and they are waiting too -- Yulia says that they hope to hear tomorrow morning. We hope so too!

Sure hope you feel better soon, Cheryl. I know Jack and Hailee are probably waiting on you hand and foot! As it should be...
We had a nice weekend here. Spent Saturday with the kids. Norah helped me cook. She said, "I'll stir very carefully so I don't fling it all over the place". We laughed and hugged over that one.
So when you said you waited all day, what did you really mean? Were you literally sitting in a room somewhere waiting? That would be horrible.
Your daughter's waiting somewhere too...You will connect very soon.

Sorry to hear you're under the weather. Actually, it's not surprising after the emotional whirlwind you've been through. Glad to hear you've made peace with your decision even though it was a tough one to make.
I pray that the next day goes better and that you're well on your way to bonding with your daughter. And although we only met, you seem like a great caring family with much love to give.

Take care of yourself, send Jack and Hailee to the store for more medicine. Hope tomorrow is much better. By the time you return my house will be all complete it just needed the Florida wiz to get me off my feet and get going.
The basement is still unorganized, but I can live with that for now.

Mom, I am so sorry to hear that you have a nasty cold, I was hoping that since it had been a few weeks Hailee had not shared it after all. Take care of yourself...I am also disappointed that you have been having to wait in terms of getting to see the other children. The good news is that our new family member is out there, just waiting for you to notice her..I am hoping that by this time tomorrow you will have been able to meet some new children with the social worker. We all have "the bug" here too....YUCK!! We are all sick except for Grammy!!

Owen and Avery had swim class tonight. We came home and all curled up in a blanket...sick.
