Pictures of Uralsk

Hailee and Natalya seeing each other for the first time. Natalya was so proud of Hailee and happy to see how grown up and beautiful she is.

Luba, Kiera Saltanat and Hailee at the Tropicana Pizza bar -- interesting place. At night it turns into a night club of sorts.

McJohns - Kazakhstan's version of Mac's I guess. They have an English menu but not English waitresses so there's a lot of pointing going on. On the menu is pizza, burgers, fried potatoes and some type of chicken thingy!

welcome to our family Kiera. We are all anxious to meet you and let you feel our love. Jack and Cheryl, we can't express our happiness for you all enough. Hopefully the trying times are over and smooth sailing through the rest of your visit there, then home. I am at Brett's for the day, I was so excited to see the blog being posted as we watched. Went to visit your dad yesterday, we was great, eating pretzels and watching the Brewers. He was laughing/crying sort of when we talked of you and your trip so far. He is doing well. Mom had a good afternoon also. Won 2X at bingo. She keeps saying Jack was here, so don't feel bad bro, you are with her, thats all for now. I will post later again. Lots of love and prayers to you all. Brian and Pat

Cheryl, are you telling me you found the infamous "chicken thingy" right there in Kazakhstan? I guess when we were searching for it, we were just looking in the wrong place. HAHA!

We're just getting ready to head into dinner at the Pushkin (where they have wireless access) and decided to check our blog one more time.

Pat -- thank you for all the prayers and for updating us on mom and my dad -- we've been wondering/worrying how things were.

Linda -- yes, we found it . . . . can you believe it??? And it's not even a waffle house!
