New Development

Amazingly when we arrived home yesterday there was a package in our door. The Fed Ex man had delivered our apostilled documents -- we quickly filed those away in the proper envelopes. Ahhhh ............. it's done ............... now on to the packing and organizing . . . . . RIGHT?

WRONG!!! Yes, WRONG! At 2:00 this afternoon the agency called -- Hailee's passport cannot be extended, the Kazakhstan Consulate in NY said that she's been in the states too long. Huh?? Too long???? What now . . . well . . . . to fix the situation we are required to write a letter explaining what we will be doing in Kazakhstan, send it to the agency who will forward it to the consulate with Hailee's US passport -- immediately, of course, since we leave next Friday. (sigh) Back to worrying about paperwork . . .
