The outside of the apartment building is rough looking - it was government owned years ago until Russia decided to sell some of the apartments to the people.
The entrance to our hallways -- it is a huge steel door that is opened only with a key card . . . we feel very safe.
We go up five floors (elevator is usable, but kind of creepy). We have to enter through a heavy wooden door that is about 2 inches thick. We use a skeleton key and than have a huge steel bolt once we're inside. This hall leads straight to the bathroom -- to the left is the kitchen and living room. To the right at the end of the hall is our room & a tub room with a wash machine (sounds as if there's a jet taking off when it's running, but it works great) To the left of the bathroom is Hailee's room.
The kitchen is cozy -- enough room for a small table, 3 chairs, fridge, small stove and a high chair. It is old, but each day we feel better and better about using it, although, I can't imagine us doing any baking in the stove.
And finally our living room. It's really modern, the couches are amazingly comfortable -- we've got the Hallmark channel and a couple other choices, but enough movies with us to last at least 6 months. The apartment was a good choice, if the internet worked it would be perfect!

Congrats on everything. When Jon came home from work on Friday he came with bad news. I am so glad we got the internet and heard all of the great news. Welcome Kiera for us into the family! We are excited to meet her and can't wait to see you all again! I am updating pictures later this afternoon so I hope you enjoy!
Yea I hear you on the stove comment...I am still trying to picture you using ANY stove!! :)
Jonathan William Ollmann! No respect . . . . . not even when I'm thousands of miles away!
Yeah, the apartment kind of grows on you after awhile. It's funny to see you living in "our" apartment. LOL
