The bags are packed and ready -- Jack weighed them, can you believe we're taking 116 lbs. of STUFF (not including our carryons)? My goal was 2 bags to check -- I was able to get pretty much everything into those 2 bags but I was a couple pounds over in each so I had to move it around and add another small bag. Petko's not going to be happy with us ..... of course, we're bringing their Amazon items -- I'm sure that's what put me over. :-)
We leave Milwaukee at 12:10 tomorrow -- planning to leave the house early, stop for breakfast and head to the airport to get this journey started.
We were talking today about how to greet Gabriela -- I so want to just grab her up and squeeze her and hug her and give her kisses all over that cute little face .... but Hailee said I'll scare her to death. Hailee said a simple "Hi" and a little hug would do .... I don't know if I'll be able to control myself ..... what do you think?

You'll know when you see her what the right thing to do will be. Your very good at reading people. If she's ready for that big hug and kiss, you'll just know it.
YOU WILL DEFINITELY KNOW IT!!!
I agree with Linda. Do what feels natural. I'm SO excited for you.
Hi Mom and Hailee,
By the time you will read this you will be in Bulgaria..in fact right about now or with-in the next few minutes you should be on the ground in Amsterdam...only 1 more flight to go before you are there, then a little sleep, & you will be on the way to pick up Gabi. I am sitting here missing you, tonight we had dinner at Aunt Pats with not only Dad & I but Aunt Gin, Uncle Bob, Aunt Nancy, and Stacy and Steve...it was fun we ate, then the girls played cards while the men sat outside by the fire pit...we had a good time..tomorrow for me is cleaning day, and then Monday I will be with Dad again...we got Gabi's room all set to go...and I will work on Hailees next...Love you both VERY much and can not wait to hear how the trip went, all day long Dad and I were wondering where you were, how Hailee's ears were, ect...Love You! Lisa
