Happy 12th Birthday Hailee!!!

We will post more later today but thought we'd do a quick one this morning . . .. Below is our visit to the square where we fed the pigeons yesterday.



And this is what Hailee woke up to this morning. She was so suprised -- we had bought a webkinz before we left -- the husky that she has wanted forever -- wrapped it up and blew up a few balloons to decorate with. She loved it. We tried to get on the webkinz site earlier and it won't load so we promised we'd take her to the internet cafe.

At 11:30 we're meeting the Nelson's for a birthday lunch at a Kazakh restaurant nearby. Jonathan you'll be proud -- we know we can't read one thing on the menu but we've heard they have pictures. We're going to try it and see how it is. My only fear is horse meat ......... but ........ I guess there could be worse things, right?? Right???

Jack & Hailee already ran to the market where she picked out a beautiful cake and we have candles that Luba found for us so it will be good. The Nelson's will come to our place after lunch and we'll sing and visit. Although it will be a different birthday Hailee will enjoy it.



We will be waiting for the phone call from Yulia this afternoon -- they have court at 11 for Nathan & Cynthia and she said after that they would be able to talk with the social worker. There are butterflies in my stomach -- the not knowing -- the thought that this call will determine our future once again is scary. It's a good thing we will have lots of diversions today.

UPDATE - 3:15 p.m.
Yulia called -- she couldn't talk because she had a bad connection but she said to be ready at 4:10 to go to the orphanage. That's all we know right now -- we hope it's good news. Wish we knew what orphanage we were going to .... the butterflies are worse now than ever!
