Our family is usually very open about our lives -- everyone knows pretty much about what is happening in everyone elses lives. It has it's good points and its bad ............ tonight we learned that our family had a huge secret that they managed to keep from Jack, I and Hailee. (I'm still in awe of how they managed to do that)
We met our best friends,the Komoll's,at Chuck E Cheese tonight so Hailee & Norah & Benjamin could play while the adults caught up on everything -- we were chatting and I looked to my right and there was Lisa next to me -- it took a minute to comprehend that she was holding Hayden and Jonathan and Amanda were right behind her . . . . they had just arrived from Seattle and Lisa had picked them up at the airport. Needless to say it was quite a celebration!
It's hard to imagine that everyone knew about this plan and not one person let it slip . . . tomorrow we are having the family birthday party for Hailee and we had been talking about how happy we were that most everyone would be there. This is an accomplishment when you have a family the size we do ..... they will now get to meet Hayden for the first time and see Jonathan and Amanda after five months. It promises to be a wonderful day!
I will close for now but I'm still shaking my head at how this came together -- did I ever mention what amazing family and friends we have??? Thank you to each and every one of you who played a part in this heartwarming surprise!

We all had a wonderful time, but as always time went by much too quickly. Norah said she had a great time and that she loved Hailee. And Benjamin, well his smiling face said it all.
